Mountain Lion? Bobcat? Zombies?

No.  One of our guides, Jim fell into a cat-claw acacia bush while riding out in the desert alone.  He didn’t realize until he got back to the car and looked in the mirror that his face was bleeding!  It always helps to go mountain biking with a buddy (or guide) to help pull you out of the cactus (and the cactus out of you) and to let you know when you look like sh*t!!

trotify

Calling all Monty Python fans…. check out this gadget. Trotify mounts to your bicycle so you can have that classic horse-on-a-cobblestone-street sound as you ride.

This quirky product would be hilarious to have on a Southwest Trekking adventure.

Lets see if we can get John Hieman to put a bulk order in. =)

Water!

Many of the lower canyons on Mt.Lemmon include pools of water year round. The riparian habitat of pima canyon is a great place to enjoy a early morning or evening hike, as well as a chance to view birds and wildlife.
