Desert Beauty!

Thursday, June 25th, 2015

The blooming Saguaro flower, a 3 inch white flower typically blooming May and June provides food for many species including birds, bees, and especially bats because the flowers tend to begin opening at night and only last about 24 hours! #saguaro #tucson #hiking #outdooradventure

VentanaTrailMap VentanaRunGraph TRailRunGroup Ventana3DSo, you think you want to go for a hike.  Sure we can help with that.  Oh, oh, you want a challenging hike?  Sure I think we can make that happen.  Check it out, ‘the boys’ did this trail a bit ago and GPSed it as they went.  If you look closely at ‘the numbers’ you might notice they did the trail at a pace of a bit over 12 minute miles.  So in reality they ran this trail.  We will just say they be bad.  But, but we can take you there at a bit more relaxed pace.  Not relaxed but a bit more relaxed than what they did it at.  In reality it will take twice as long to trek this trail as what they ‘ran’ it in.

IMG_0513We have the solution to hiking in the summer while visiting Tucson.

Sure it’s hot in Tucson in the summer.

You can still do it.

A unique experience can still be had.

We have the solution, or should I say solutions.

Hike early, and I mean really early.  4;30AM, 5:00AM.  Why not?  It cooler, you get to experience the sunrise.

Heck yeah.

Wet towel around the neck, cool wet towels.  It works, unbelievably well.

An umbrella?  Heck yeah.  Or just maybe use all three ideas?  What a concept.

A solution, to a prior problem.

This is why we are The Professional Guide Service
