It’s officially cold….and snowy in the Catalinas

Monday, December 17th, 2012

Yes that’s right, its snows in Arizona. A picture to prove it! We’ve even got a local ski resort on Mt. Lemmon. You could ride your snowboard in the morning and ride your mnt bike in the afternoon.

See that white stuff ? Above 7000ft. that snow will stick around for a while.

Get kissed by your guide under a mistletoe…or not

Friday, December 14th, 2012

On our morning hike at the JW Marriott Starr Pass this morning. My guest Annette from Pheonix asked me, “Whats that green stuff in the tree?”. She was refering to a Palo Verde tree about 20 feet away that had a wonderful example of a Desert Mistletoe. She was unaware of the juicy smooch she missed by 20 feet. So guest beware of your guide during this holiday season as there are many, many desert mistletoe in the great out of doors here in Tucson. You just might get lip smacked by your caring guide!
