I had a guest rent a bike from me a couple days ago, that was a regular mountain biker used to getting 25 miles in a 2 hr ride. After confidently launching in at the Bowen trailhead, he came back asking for the bike trail. I again showed him the Richard E. Genser trailhead on the map. I suggested that as he is not at all used to our terrain, he might want to think of this ride as more of a skills workshop day than getting his miles in. I just ran into hom in the lobby. My advise worked he had an awesome time that will live in his memory and his skill set for life.

Saturday, January 21st, 2012Mantra “I am Going To Ride Every Trail”
Thursday, April 7th, 2011Hello all, I am going to ride every trail in our area in 2011,( mantra and goal) especially those that I am not familiar with. I will be posting on many of the trails I experience so that you can try them too. As many as I can I will post gps tracks for, once I figure out how my newest gadget works. Trail crews have been building lots of great new trail in the area. It seems every mountain range has new stuff to be discovered, and I plan to enjoy or at least endure every one. I spent the last couple years working on my dream house. So I was only riding trails that I knew wouldn’t hurt me, not easy mind you just familiar, but now its time to branch out and get out, there’s many an adventure awaiting! I will be riding with a recent beginner on a single speed, and when possible my girlfriend, so you race weenies might giggle at the lap times. Riding with friends is worth the slow down, plus you might just get to see some nice pics upon my return. Waiting for others is a great chance to enjoy the beauty that surrounds you on trail.

Wow busy
Saturday, February 12th, 2011Hello, wow we busy!! I’ve been answering questions and renting bikes all morning! Only sad thing is I don’t have time to work on bikes! Oh well guess I’m over that now! Wonderfully active group of guests, in right now. Only one person got up for the morning hike. But one that tips beats three that don’t right. Well that’s it for now , Remember enjoy your ride and trip your guide!, if you go it alone buy yourself a drink and pat yourself on the back!!!! Just Get Out There!!!
